Christian Education Director - Kathi Linn
Kathi has been involved in youth ministry since 1974 when she started teaching Sunday School at First
Presbyterian Church in Muscatine, Iowa. Over the years she has taught all ages
in Sunday School, Youth Club and VBS. She has taken groups of youth to Christian
summer camps, to amusement parks, to weekend youth conferences, and to any fun
event available to them. Although educated as a Registered Nurse, Kathi
left the medical field to devote her entire time to working for the church in
2005. She is a member of A.P.C.E., the Association of Presbyterian Church
Educators, and continues her education in the field of youth ministry through
seminars, workshops, conferences and personal study. Kathi remains a licensed RN
and has graduated from a Parish Nurse program as well. Kathi and her husband John
have been married since 1977 and have two grown sons,
Brett and Michael. Their two grandsons live in Colorado just an hour from Estes
Park, so they spend a lot of time hiking the Rockies. Kathi has seen a lot of
changes in her years of youth ministry, but God’s love is never changing. She
feels blessed to be given the opportunity to share that message of love with
young people, and prays that mustard seed will grow in their hearts during the
difficult times of their lives.

Music Director - Millie
Comiski

Organist - Linda Hale
Linda has
lived in Burlington for 25 years and during that time has had the privilege of
serving as organist at several area churches. Her first organ instructor was also the choir director at her hometown church in
Onawa, Iowa and she was drafted into service at the
age of fourteen! Her instructor was a wonderful musician - an also
her most severe critic! Because her instructor was
always present for the services, Linda knew that her
weekly lessons would inevitably address any shortcomings from the previous
Sunday! Most of Linda's working years were spent in the field of secondary
education. In retirement she enjoy being involved with
the music program at Hospice House, tutoring students at SCC and spending time
with her family. George and Linda have five grown children and six
grandchildren. They both like reading, movies and traveling.
